The China Youth Employment Research Report, an analysis report of China's survey on school to work transition, was officially released on 20 May 2005.
This Survey was a joint project between the All-China Youth Federation, Research Institute of Labor Sciences of Ministry of Labor and Social Security of China and International Labor organization. Adopting the ILO research methods, the survey colleted 6000 youth samples and 200 employer samples in Tianjin Municipality, Dalian City of Liaoning Province, Changsha City of Hunan Province and Liuzhou City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and made a detailed investigation on the school to work transition of Chinese youth. It is the first large-scale youth employment survey in China. Its analysis report China Youth Employment Research Report got high coverage in tens of media, including People Daily, China Youth Daily and New China Digest. The report was also appraised as one of the 10 Most Concerned Research Reports by Net Surfers.
