剧情简介
玛利亚在她八岁生日的时候终于得到了一辆自行车，但令她失望的是自行车很快就被偷了。在警察局，瑞查德叔叔是唯一愿意倾听玛利亚诉说遭遇的人，但是他没有警车不能去抓小偷，除非发生奇迹才能使他得到一辆警车。
于是，当神奇的夜幕笼罩了城市，一颗流星划过天空，玛利亚祈祷出现奇迹。这天夜里，一辆叫PELLE的警车闪着金光停在玛利亚的卧室里--而不是停在警察局的车库里。
玛利亚好不容易才把警车从房间里弄出去，并且使瑞查德叔叔相信PELLE是一辆真正的警车，可以开着它去抓小偷。当瑞查德叔叔发现PELLE能干什么的时候他惊讶极了，因为它不仅会说话，而且还能自动行驶！一个新世界出现在玛利亚和瑞查德叔叔眼前，他们坐上PELLE警车去抓小偷。

For her eighth birthday Maria finally gets a bicycle, but to her despair it is stolen shortly after. At the police station Uncle Rikhard is the only one willing to listen to Maria's story, but he cannot pursue the thieves without a police car_and it will take a miracle for him to get one.
So when a magical night sinks over the town and a shooting star flies across the sky, Maria wishes for a miracle. That same night Pelle the Police Car lands in a shower of sparks_not in the police garage,but in Maria's own bedroom!
Maria manages to get Pelle out of the house and convinces Uncle Rikhard that Pelle is a real police car that can be used to chase the thieves. Uncle Rikhard is in for quite a surprise when he begins to discover what Pelle is capable of. Not only can he talk_he can also drive around on his own! A new world opens up for Maria, Uncle Rikhard, and Pelle as they set out to catch the bicycle thieves.
