通常听不懂的时候, 说声“Excuse me.”或是“Pardon?”，老外都会很愿意再重说一次给你听的。当然，还有一些其它不错的用法表示“不了解”、“不清楚”。不要错过我给你提供的这个“大集合”哦！

1. My brain doesn't work.

我搞不清楚。

这可是个非常实用、而且也非常好用的句子。当我们讲话讲到一半舌头打结，或是讲到不知所云时，都可以用“My brain doesn't work.”跟人家讨论一个问题的时候，你知道答案，却偏偏想不起来，也可以讲这一句。“I don't recall. (我想不起来。)”也有同样的功能。现在进行式“My brain is not working.”也是一个常用的变体哦！

2. What are you talking about?

你在说什么?

这句话从字面上来看好像是说"你在讲什么，我听不懂“实际上意思应该是"你在讲什么东西，根本就是胡说八道。”所以这句话的尾音是下沉而不是上扬，表示你对别人所说的话不认同。 例如有人问你“Are you dating Bob now?”，你就可以反驳说“What are you talking about? She is not my type.”

3. He has a problem understanding what you mean.

他无法解理你在说什么。

在口语中有两个很好用的句型表示“无法，有困难”，一个是 has problem doing something，另一个是has a hard time doing something。比如说，有人提议要去看The Lord of the Rings这部电影的首映，你就可以劝阻他“I think we will have a hard time getting tickets."，就是说"我觉得我们很难买到票。”

“What do you mean?”也是一个很常用的问句，表示不理解对方的意思。

4. I have no idea what that is.

我不知道那是什么。

I have no idea 跟 I don't know 用的几乎一样多，意思也差不多，可以交互使用。I have no idea 也可以说成 I have no clue。clue是"线索"的意思。那么"一点线索都没有"就是"什么都不知道"的意思了。

5. This is over my head.

这超出我所能理解的范围。

当别人拿一些你看不懂的文章或书给你看时，你就可以这么说。有时候要表示强烈的语气就可以加一个totally： This is totally over my head.

6. Beats me.

考倒我了。

这个短语听来有点像是“打败我了”的意思，但事实上它是 “你考倒我了”或是 “你问倒我了”的意思。例如有人问你：Do you know how to make dumplings? 你就可以回答：Beats me。

7. Does that ring a bell?

有没有帮你想起一些什么啊?

这句话通常是用在别人听不懂你的问题、你给人家一点提示或解释之后，你就可以问他： Does that ring a bell? 比如说，我要打听一个地方：Do you know John & Jones' store? 别人回答：No, I don't。那我就可以继续说：It's a store with new fashion. The owner used to be a famous model. Does that ring a bell?
