Tang and Chang Chao (inset), both from Beijing, fell in love with each other in January this year after chatting on the Internet. Chang insisted on marrying Tang despite his illness and has taken care of him in a Beijing hospital's ICU after their marriage in August. Their love story has moved the nation and about 5,000 netizens in Beijing, Shanghai and Xi'an also attended vigils over the weekend.
