Students from Dai ethnic minorities have a class at a shabby classroom in Menghai County, Southwest China's Yunnan Province November 10, 2006. The construction of a planned new school building has been halted after a local company broke its promise of donating 1,100,000 yuan (US$137,500). Dong Zhongyi, director of the company had fled.
